“I’m an experienced wine professional working in the industry for over 14 years after leaving the BBC News at Ten to pursue my wine studies.
I hold the coveted Diploma in Wine and Spirits and am a certified WSET educator and teacher of the WSET Level 3. I’m an accredited tutor the Bordeaux wine region and certified Rioja educator; also holding the Advanced Cava Educator certification.
I have a great passion for the wines of the champagne region and recently won the Curious Vines Champagne Bollinger Award. An initiative from Queena Wong to uplift women in the industry to the world of fine wines. As part of the prize, I will be studying with the Wine Scholar Guild for their Champagne Masters certification.
I own my own tasting and wine business ABVTastings running private and corporate events. I’m also a council member for the respected industry body The Association of Wine Educators.
